Certification Scheme

Certification Scheme "Asian Institute of Creative Education" has developed a set of "A-STEM School Performance Evaluation Criteria" based on the performance standards of the "International Organisation for Standardization" to help schools conduct self-assessment and certification. Accredited schools can use the above "A-STEM School" logo.

Certification Process

ONE
Application
Apply for the "A-STEM School" certification program and fill out the form to obtain this set of criteria. The A-STEM School requires a reference sample of the management manual and the form.

TWO
Standards
In accordance with this set of standards, The school which join the certification plan can start the STEM planning, implementation, evaluation and improvement in schools, and the preparation of their own A-STEM school management manual.

THREE
Self-accessment
Submit a “self-assessment” report to arrange for the assessment team. Our assessment team will go to the school for a field assessment.

FOUR
Judging Panel
The judging panel will submit an accreditation report for the school to make corrections and improvements. Those who meet the standard requirements can obtain a certificate and can use the "A-STEM School" logo on their website and promotion media.

Certification
The "A-STEM School" certification is valid for three years. After three years, the school must arrange for the next review in order to maintain its certification.

Performance Standard

“The A-STEM School Performance Standard” was designed by “Asian Institute of Creative Education” to enhance the overall performance of the school in STEM.

The objective of the “A-STEM School Performance Standards” is :

  • To develop guidelines for school principals and management to assist schools in planning, implementing and evaluating the overall performance of STEM.
  • To encourage and motivate more schools to invest in the development of STEM education.

  • To provide a comprehensive set of standards and frameworks to assist schools in the continuous improvement and assessment of STEM education.

STEM School
Management Manual

The STEM School Management Manual was prepared by the institute based on the current operational mechanism and with reference to the “A-STEM School” performance review criteria as a continuous improvement of STEM policy, goal planning and implementation.

STEM School education-related operations shall take effect from the date of publication of this manual. Schools shall follow the specifications in the STEM School Management Manual and ensure that the school’s STEM policies and objectives are aligned and achieved.
